To have onboard air is to have the ability to create and store pressurized air right on your vehicle. Air is needed to operate products such as exhaust brakes. Some products, like Pacbrake’s air suspension kits, don’t require onboard air, but having the capacity to adjust the air in each spring right in the driver’s seat is much more convenient. Adding this feature to your vehicle requires the installation of an air compressor, air tank and dash activation switch.

PACBRAKE HP625 AIR COMPRESSORS

Pacbrake's 12 and 24 volt heavy duty HP625 air compressors have a 100% duty cycle and are offered in two pump head configurations, vertical and horizontal. These 3/4 horsepower compressors have an oil-less design, sealed bearings, a PTFE piston ring, a copper wire wound permanent magnet motor and a cast steel cylinder with a hard annodized aluminum sleeve.

The required installation components are offered separately, HP10116 (12V compressors) and HP10116-24 (24V compressors).
